  • The hydraulic tube puller type TPS 55 is used to remove thick-walled tubes from tube floors. The device consists of a transportable hydraulic unit, a hollow piston pulling cylinder with a mechanical quick-release clamping device and an extraction tool consisting of an extraction spindle, spacer sleeve and clamping jaws. The extraction spindle is screwed into the end of the pipe to be extracted using a drive machine . The pulling cylinder is then placed on the pull-out spindle and both are fixed in place using a quick-release chuck. The pressurized cylinder then pulls the tube out of the tube sheet.
