The mechanical-hydraulic tube fixing machine TES 97 is the heart of a professional welding preparation. It consists of a portable hydraulic power unit and a hydraulic cylinder with a spreading tool. The tubes are positioned centrally and without any gaps in the bore against the tube position to be welded. This prevents welding defects and thus represents a significant advantage over tack welding the tubes .
